Di giorno in giorno Roma, 2012
intaglio engraving (soft-groun, etching and drypoint on zinc), analogic photography and text.
200 x 400 cm (composition of printings of 10 x 10 cm fixed on 8 cardboards of 100 x 100 cm)

The work deals about the time that the artist lived in the Spain Academy in Rome thanks to a project of artist in residence.
The work concept is structured around the idea to join the objective observation and the memory vision of artist‘s life experience. During threee months time the artist was every day gone up on the top of the Academy tower to take a picture to Rome view. The result is a wall composition of intaglio engraving fragments (the introspective sensation of the town view) and analogic colour photograpies (the objective vision). There are also some interventions realized by drawing, artist writing and typography.
